User Financial Documents Notification

These notifications inform you about the status of a user's proof of funds or proof of wealth request.
It covers two document types:

proof_of_funds — evidence of the origin of the funds used by the user.

proof_of_wealth — evidence of how the user's overall wealth has been accumulated.

A notification is sent every time the status of a request changes.

Statuses

pending — financial documents are requested from the user.

approved — the provided documents have been accepted.

declined — the provided documents have been rejected.

not_available — there is no outcome for the request, or the user cannot provide the documents.

Asset groups

The asset_group field indicates which asset group the request relates to: fiat, crypto or securities.

Partner responsibilities

Upon receiving a notification with status: pending, partners should collect the requested documents from the user and upload them via the Upload a financial file endpoint, using the appian_case_id from the notification and the type as purpose.

approved, declined and not_available are final outcomes of the request.
